Sushant Singh Rajput Suicide News: 34-years Old Actor Found Dead at Mumbai Home

June 15, 2020: The gloomy clouds are still hovering over the Bollywood industry as it lost another shining star as Sushant Singh Rajput committed suicide at his Mumbai home. While the industry is still in mourning after the death of Irrfan Khan and Rishi Kapoor, Bollywood has to now deal with another loss of an energetic young actor. Sushant was 34 years old and found dead at his Mumbai home in Bandra, Mumbai Police DCP, Pranay Ashok confirmed on Sunday evening. While his representative and police have confirmed his death by suicide, no ‘suicide note’ was found from his residence. 

The Mumbai police spokesperson said, the actor was diagnosed with depression and taking medicine as well. However, he also said in an interview that “No one invites me to parties”. Sushant said that the industry never accepts him as a family. Sapna Bhavnani Celebrity hairstylist, while mourning the loss of Sushant Singh Rajput, revealed that the Sushant had been going through some tough times for the last few years.

Sushant was a young, talented actor who began his journey in the media & entertainment industry with a daily soap “Kis Desh Mein Hai Mera Dil” and went crazy over spectators for his outstanding performance as Manav Deshmukh in ‘Pavitra Rishta’. Later in 2013, Sushant made his debut in Bollywood with Abhishek Kappor’s Kai Po Che! He just left the audience stand on toe with his outstanding performance as an enthusiastic cricketer.

The actor was known for his performances in films such as Chhichhore, MS Dhoni: The Untold Story and Detective Byomkesh Bakshy!. Sushant Singh Rajput’s last release was ‘Chhichhore’, which hit the screens in 2019. He romanced Shraddha Kapoor in the film, which emerged as a massive blockbuster at the box office. The actor was rumored to be in a relationship with Rhea Chakraborty and the couple was often snapped by the paparazzi around the city. His biggest hit till date remains ‘MS Dhoni: The Untold Story’, wherein he essayed the role of India’s much loved cricketer Dhoni. The young talent was a passionate cricketer and famous for his generosity. 

The actor’s upcoming movie ‘Dil Bechara‘ will be his last film. The film was earlier scheduled to hit the theatres on May 8, but got postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic. Sushant had also signed Chanda Mama Door Ke, the first Indian space adventure film, directed by Sanjay Puran Singh Chauhan and co-starring R. Madhavan. But the film was shelved due to budget issues and rumors suggested that the actor had decided to walk out. Apart from these projects, the actor was preparing to essay 12 real-life characters, including Chanakya, Rabindranath Tagore and APJ Abdul Kalam, in a biopic series. Well, the actor had prior experience of working in a biopic thanks to the 2016 super hit biographical sports film M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story.

Other than M.S Dhoni and Kedarnath, In 2018, Sushant starred in Kedarnath opposite Sara Ali Khan. His last appearances were Nitesh Tiwari’s Chhichhore and Drive that released on Netflix. And the reason that left all broken into pieces is not having been in touch. Sushant was a self-made actor with no family background just like Manoj Bajpai, Irrfan Khan and many others. 

As the audience eagerly waits for Dil Bechara, which is right now in post-production, it aches to know that it’ll be the last movie of the actor. However, the actor will remain in our hearts for his outstanding performance that he has given to the industry. Shuddh Desi Romance to M.Sc Dhoni: The Untold Story, he will be remembered forever.
