Covid-19 Origin: As the pressure continues to mount on China on COVID-19 Origin, the United State attacks on China. Former Secretary of State Mike ‘Pompeo’ said on Saturday, “the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV) was engaged in Military activities other than Civilian Research.” China and WIV have been under scrutiny since the global pandemic began because Wuhan was the center of the pandemic. Earlier last week, US President Joe Biden had announced the investigations of COVID-19 origin and directed intelligence agencies for this task.
Pompeo added that the Wuhan Lab was engaged with China’s PLA (People’s Liberation Army) alongside the ‘Good Old Civilian Research’. He also said that China refuses to reveal anything about their activities and also refused access of the World Health Organization to Wuhan Lab.
“What I can say is this: we know that they were engaged in efforts connected to the People’s Liberation Army inside of that laboratory, so military activity being performed alongside what they claimed was just good old civilian research”, Pompeo said, as per Fox news.
“They refuse to tell us what it was, they refuse to describe the nature of either of those, they refused to allow access to the World Health Organization when it tried to get in there.”
China is under increasing pressure over the probe of Coronavirus origin, as every country and scientists are demanding more clarity on the virus and want to go into the roost of the global pandemic. Professor Nikolai Petroskey, director of Endocrinology at Flinders Medical Center, during his interaction with Sky News Australia, said – the world’s scientific community was tricked by China, reported by a New York Times Post.
“Finally a lot of experts are now saying well actually it does now look like this virus may have escaped from the Chinese lab and China is feeling the heat,”- satiated Andre Bolt, Host of Sky News Australia.
The United State and World Health Organization are pressuring China to probe or reveal the reason behind this virus and global pandemic. However, China has denied that the COVID-19 had not originated there and said it was “a conspiracy created by US intelligence agencies”, reported New York Times Post.
