The Brazilian government has only permitted researchers with valid identity proofs to enter the island.

In the heavily guarded and restrictive country of the world, North Korea, lies another extremely secretive room, Room 39, thinking about the repercussions of going there will give you chills down your spine and don’t even think of returning with your soul inside your body once you reach. The extremely secretive Room 39 is said to be the hub 0f various illegal operations by the North Korean government. This room is one of the world’s most secretive places.

Niihau

Forbidden Isle or the island of Niihau in Hawaii is one of the places that you could have only thought of going, until very recently. Inherited by the Robinsons, the island only has their family and friends. Along with that, only the people who are invited by the family are allowed to set foot on the island. This island could rank in the top five secret places in the world. From 1987, only some parts of the islands have become accessible to the general public that too with heavy restrictions.

Area 51

Area 51 is a military outpost 80 miles north of Las Vegas, somewhere in the middle of a desert. The area was made during the time of the cold war, to keep an eye on the Soviet Union but is now associated with extraterrestrial ships. This area is now not accessible to the public and is under watch. Nobody exactly knows what happens in the closed premises, but speculations and theories have been made around the interference of extraterrestrial interventions in the area

Some palaces are so secretive, that to limit human intervention, the government has banned these places from human access. Here are a few of the world’s most secretive places that are banned. 

Surtsey Island, Iceland

Located in Iceland, Surtsey island is formed out of volcanic eruption. It is a hidden paradise in the world. This island is only accessible to researchers and environmentalists and is off-limits to the general public as they want to preserve the flora and fauna of the place. 

North Sentinel Island, Andaman

Considered one of the hardest places to visit, North Sentinel is home to one of the most conservative tribes to reside on the planet. The resident tribes are infuriated by the intervention of anyone other than their own. The tribes are known for their detachment from the outside world and violence. Hence, it’s better to stay within limits and let them not eat you for lunch. Topping the list of the world’s most secretive places, the sentinel island is far off the reach of Indian citizens after being banned by the government.

A few of the world’s most secretive places are kept secret purely for the sake of science and research. Some of them are made in places so far away from human reach that it is unimaginable to have a glimpse of them.

Lascaux Cave

Near the village of Montignac, France, lies the prehistoric Lascaux caves. The caves were discovered in the 1940s. The walls of the caves are covered with more than 600 paintings of flora and fauna. The cave was earlier open to tourists, but this led to a depletion of the primitive art considered around 20,000 years old. Now to protect the rich heritage of the caves, the caves are made inaccessible to the people. 

Svalbard Global Seed Vault

A huge seed vault has been created in the deserted lands in Norway to have a sample of every variety of crop that ever existed on the planet. Norway being the coldest and safest of the palaces was considered apt to set up this seed vault. This seed vault could be just for a purpose of research collection or it could be the preparation for an upcoming apocalypse. Svalbard Global Seed Vault is one of the world’s most secretive places.
