He asked people to stay at home and work from home as much as possible while figuring out the effects of the virus in the next 12 weeks, said the world has never witnessed a crisis as dangerous as this.
69-years old PM, Modi requested the citizens of the nation to follow these 9 tips to prevent the spread of Coronavirus as this is a matter of health and life of the people of India.
1) Every Indian Citizen is requested to remain alert and aware and don’t go out unless it’s absolutely necessary.
2) Senior Citizens, those between 60-65 years should stay in the homes as much as possible.
3) Support and follow ‘Janta Curfew’ from 7am to 9pm on March 22.
4) Thank the service providers as doctors and others by clapping for five minutes at 5pm on March 22.
5) If possible, then avoid visiting hospitals for routine check-ups. Postpone elective surgeries.
6) Ask the Finance Minister to keep check on all necessary actions under the Economic Response Task Force.
7) Request business, high income groups to not cut salaries of their employees.
8) People are requested not to indulge in hoarding, panic buying.
9) Don’t believe rumours or unverified news. Don’t hoax or spread fake news.
He also requested people to follow the advisory of the central and state government to combat Coronavirus
