The news of a war-like situation between Pakistan and Iran ignites a sense of controversies and multiple allegations. Both countries are actively air-striking on the territory border, accelerating the border tension. What’s the whole story of such a drastic move? Is it a political take or any deep conspiracy?
Let’s throw light on this ongoing Pakistan Vs Iran strike scenario to provide you with more clarity on this news.
Missile Strikes On The Way!
As a counter-strike to Iran’s airstrikes, Pakistan launched missiles on Iran’s territory, killing nine people. The action is targeted at terrorist hideouts in Iran’s south-eastern Sistan-Baluchestan province. Previously, drones, rockets and long-range missiles were used to target the Balochistan Liberation Front and the Balochistan Liberation Army.
Anwar ul Haq Kakar, Pakistan’s caretaker Prime Minister, is likely to summon a meeting focusing on Pakistan-Iran tensions by setting up a team for the National Security Committee.
On the other side, Iran is claiming that the missile attack was on the Iranian terrorist hideout and never intended to attack Pakistan. The main goal was to get freedom for Iran’s Sistan and Baluchestan provinces.
As Pakistan and Iran share a border, the conflict of separatist operations on both sides is not a new thing.
Why did Iran Attack Pakistan?
“The group has taken shelter in some parts of Pakistan’s Balochistan province. This group killed our security forces. We only targeted Iranian terrorist groups on the soil of Pakistan.” – Iranian Minister Abdollahian
Iran claimed that previously, Jaish al-Adl had launched attacks on Iranian security forces along the border area with Pakistan. Jaish al-Adl, or the “Army of Justice”, is operating across the Pakistan border and encountering Iranian innocents with attacks. Also, Tehran and Islamabad had accused each other of militants operating attacks. Tehran has already warned before that Jaish al-Adl militant groups are targeting Pakistan soil to launch terror attacks on Iran.
Will It Be A War?
Well, both Pakistan and Iran are giving their own reason for air strikes; still, it ignites the spark of war. As the ongoing counterstrikes prevail, the aggression lies on both sides, showcasing a war-like scenario. Whatever the conditions arise, loss and destruction will be bound to happen on both territories. So, it must be a reality check to solve the internal conflicts and take action towards such territory groups without causing any problems to the country’s innocents.
