The results of Miss Universe India 2024, held in Jaipur, Rajasthan, came out this Sunday, shocking every Indian. The 19-year-old Rhea Singha, from Gujrat, unexpectedly won the competition and won the title of Miss Universe India 2024. Miss Universe India 2015, Urvashi Rautela crowned Rhea Singha Miss Universe.
Before the announcement, Rhea was holding hands with other contenders, as shown in a video shared by Miss Universe India Organisation. Upon the announcement, Urvashi Rautela walked towards the winner of the beauty pageant and hugged her before crowning her. Now, Rhea will represent the nation at the global Miss Universe 2024 beauty pageant competition, which will take place in Mexico on November 16.
To get crowned as the Miss Universe India 2024, Rhea overcame 19 other competitors in the final round, including Shweta Sharda, who won this competition in 2023.
After being crowned Miss Universe India 2024, Singha told the news agency ANI, “Today I won the title of Miss Universe India 2024. I am so thankful. I have done so much work to get to this level where I can consider myself worthy enough for this crown. I am so inspired by the previous winners.”
