Well, we all want to be happy. In the busyness & bluster of life, becoming happier seems to be impossible. People often miss the opportunities for pleasure that are hidden somewhere around you in small things. Actually, our brains evolved to survive, to earn more money, and to keep ourselves and their families safe. When so much of the things are going around, how would you get the time for yourself, to feel the moments, and to be happy? 

But do you even know, being happy is connected with various aspects, especially with your health. Happiness is the key for good health. Pleasure can reduce your stress, can improve your blood circulation, control heart rate, strengthen your immune system, lower bone pains, also it may lengthen life expectancy and last but not the least of course, it promotes productivity and makes your mind more creative. 

When happiness can do this much to you, why find ways to be happy? Let’s look at the ways to find pleasure every day in your life because some happiness can do wonders in your life.  

1) Listen to Songs

People love music so much that’s the reason why they listen to music. When you listen to the music that you love the most, it helps to revamp your mood, fresh your mind, and cut stress you feel while and after working for 9 hours. When you listen to the tune that makes you move automatically, your brain releases dopamine, a chemical involved in both motivation and addiction. Music is going to be a useful tool in trying to be happy. So listen to music, while working, traveling, studying etc to make yourself happy. 

2) Keep a Pet

You might find it strange but pets may help to divert your mind from the things that are disturbing or distress you. Pets, especially dogs, are so caring and loyal. They love their master/owner so much. Playing with and getting physically connected with them may increase the brain chemicals associated with stress. If you don’t have anybody with you, a dog can play a family member role who may love you even more than anyone and keep you engaged and makes you feel happy.   

3) Do Exercise 

Many things can be done for the body and mind to keep it refreshed, energetic, and happy, but exercise is the thing that has a positive impact on your body and mind as well. Exercise does a lot of things to the brain. Usually, when you start your day with a morning walk, it actually helps to reduce the level of cortisol and adrenaline in the body that cause stress. So by reducing this, it is simply able to reduce the stress your brain feels and keeps you happy every time.

4) Stop Finding Ways to be Happy

The good news is that there are always fresh opportunities around you to be happy. All you need to observe them and live the moment in which you’re living. Whatever the reason is, whether it’s small or big, regardless of what’s going on around, what people will think about you, just feel & enjoy the moment. When you shift your focus on the way you think, your perspective changes and you will automatically start living the life the way you want. So stop finding reasons to be happy, just live the moment you’re living in. 

5) Grow More Greenery

Do you know why people have been planting more trees outside their homes or terrace or putting plants on their workstation even since the inception of the office? Plants help people to make them happier, more productive, and even more creative. The green color or colorful plants relaxes the mind and makes it more peaceful. The more you grow plants, the more you spend time with them, the more you get attached with them and the more you will feel happy. 

6) Chase Your Passion

When you do the things you love to do, it will make you feel good from the inside. People always love to do the things that they love to. If nothing much, it makes them happier and busy in the activity & kick off your stress, refresh your mind, and makes you more productive and energetic. Like if you love to do dancing, painting, creativity at home, sports activity like football or any other game, etc, get more indulged in them because it will make you happier. 

7) Stop Thinking Too Much

Happiness works like a mystery in your life and stress & overthinking about the thing that hasn’t happened yet is worthless and rubbish completely. So stop thinking about the matters that aren’t under your control. Accept life as it is, try to be satisfied in what you have and do not over expect from life, it might hurt your sentiments but it is an undeniable fact that we, human beings, have no control over life. So, your overthinking on a certain matter will not help you anywhere despite making you depressed. So enjoy every moment of life in any way, regardless thinking & caring of anything.

Do you know what, no one can teach you better than your own experiences. Don’t be shy and regardless of the public, express your gratitude. Teaching yourself to become more grateful will make a huge difference in your overall happiness. Research suggests that gratitude helps to experience more positive experiences and decrease depression, stress, and make you feel better about yourself. 

To find pleasure, you don’t need to go anywhere. Just be busy in yourself, indulge in the activities that make you feel good and there is nothing that can stop you from enjoying yourself and be happy. Several ways that can help you to involve yourself  with your surroundings are mentioned above that help to find pleasure every day.
