April 13, 2020: As the situation was under control in China, the country has reported 105 new confirmed Coronavirus cases, the highest number of cases in recent days. Having a total of 82,160 COVID-19 cases, Wuhan was the epicenter as the death toll crossed 3,450 in just a span of 2 month, Chinese health officials confirmed the second wave of the pandemic.
According to a report released by China’s National Health Commission (NHC) on Saturday, a total of 1,300 corona positive cases were found in China over the last six weeks in which 486 recovered and 799 were under treatment and more than 40 were in severe condition.
It is said that almost 90 out of 105 confirmed Coronavirus cases reported on the mainland on Saturday were abroad cases. All the people were returning from overseas and have been detected with the virus during quarantine.
On Saturday, 65 new asymptomatic cases, including 12 new people returning from abroad, were confirmed in the mainland. The National Health Commission of China said, 1,087 COVID-19 cases, including 340 from foreign countries, were still under observation.

As China has more Asymptomatic cases than Coronavirus, the term refers to the people who tested positive for Coronavirus but have no symptoms as fever, Cough and mild headache or sore throat. They are more likely to infect other people faster than others.
Mr. Mi Feng, spokesperson at the China’s National Health Commission urged people to be serious about protective equipment and strengthen their efforts to halt the spread of the Coronavirus as new corona positive has been confirmed in some parts of China’s mainland.
The novel Coronavirus was started from the wet market of Wuhan, China in December that has claimed over 114,260 lives and infected 1,853,360 people globally. The United States has the highest number of COVID-19 cases and death that has become the epicenter of the pandemic after Italy and Spain.
