After months of bitter campaigning, three tough phases of voting, countless twists and turns, and allegations of EVM hack, the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) was announced as the winner of the Bihar Election 2020 early Wednesday. Backed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s campaigning, the NDA crossed the majority mark of 122 in the 243 assembly members. Bharatiya Janata Party named 74 seats to be positioned as the senior member of its alliance with Nitish Kumar’s Janata Dal (JDU), which won just 43.
The opposition, led by the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD’s) Tejaswi Yadav, gave a tough fight but eventually fell short. However, with 75 seats, he managed to flash the rise of him as a young kid in the politics of Bihar. RJD is the single largest party in Bihar Election leading one seat of BJP. Even Chirag Paswan’s LJP, which was creating much frustration for Nitish Kumar, ended up winning just one seat.
Last month around the same time during campaigning, Tejaswi Yadav was being mentioned as a failed cricketer, school dropout, and defined as a reluctant politician and unworth successor of the JDU built by Lalu Prasad Yadav, who is currently in jail for the fodder scam.
Four weeks later, he is being written as the new hope and the rising star of Bihar. The crowd he attracted to his rallies, his connection & communication with people strengthened him to outwit his rivals with years of political experience and power Nitish Kumar and even Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
He campaigned with a balanced combination of grace, firmness, and political strategies. Besides the minor slip-on ‘Babus’, Tejaswi Yadav smoothly handled even the most attacks and critics on him with dignity.
The JDU-BJP contacted the larger part mark at around 3 AM after an intensely contested race. The BJP bagged 74 seats and the JDU 43. Two more modest individuals – previous Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi’s Hindustani Awam Morcha (Secular), and the Vikassheel Insaan Party – won four each. The BJP is currently the older sibling in its relationship with the JDU – something it has never been and which could affect the decision of Bihar’s next boss clergyman, with some in the gathering of the sentiment that Nitish Kumar can at this point don’t give orders.
In fact, this is a victory of BJP in the NDA by leveraging Nitish Kumar’s reputation among the people of Bihar. The political decision featured developing crevices in the JDU-BJP relationship. The evident removal set off resistance points, with both Tejashwi Yadav and the LJP’s Chirag Paswan jumping. The BJP’s treatment of Chirag Paswan further angered Nitish Kumar; the LJP split away from the NDA to challenge freely and determinedly focused on him. JDU pioneers felt this was going on with the BJP’s inferred endorsement since Paswan was viewed as a successful stabilizer to Nitish Kumar and an approach to hold him under tight restraints.

Bihar Election Results: The country’s bigger political event amid the covid-19 pandemic was mainly focused on Tejaswi Yadav’s JIBE to offer 10 lakh government jobs. This hanging bow literally picked Nitish Kumar’s JDU on various occasions. While RJD is the second-winning party in Bihar Election, we have to see how far BJP keeps its promise to offer 19 lakh jobs.
