April 28, 2020: American President Donald Trump said on Monday that China could have stopped or at least minimized the spread of COVID-19 outbreak before it brushed off the whole world, and confirmed his administration is indulged into “Serious Investigation” into what happened.

“We are doing a very serious investigation… We are not happy with what China did,” said Donald Trump at a press conference at the White House. “There are so many ways you can hold them uncountable,” he added.

“We believe it could have been responded responsibly at the source. It could have been stopped smoothly and it wouldn’t have swept all the world.” The President said.

Coronavirus World Data shows over 3 million people have been affected globally as the worldwide death toll crosses 211,608. Reports show that over 1 million people are affected by COVID-19 only in the US as 56,900 US citizens have lost lives.

Donald Trump set the latest criticism over China after the US-China Standoff while the Trump Administration is busy in targeting China’s poor handling of the Coronavirus outbreak, which originated last year in the wet market of Chinese city Wuhan and became a global pandemic in just a span of 4 months.

Secretary of the United States Mike Pompeo said the US last week “Strongly believed” Chinese city Beijing failed to report the outbreak in a responsible manner and tried to cover up how dangerous the respiratory illness affected by the COVID-19 virus was.

Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Hua Chunying tweeted on Monday Pompeo should “Stop playing so called political games amid the outbreak. Better save energy on saving American’s lives.”

“That’s where, probably, we can detect people who are immune, that can be a part of the workforce in a safer environment.” But the point is, we can not be China, for example, conducting those fake tests and counterfeit tests, because that is going to be very dangerous and disruptive,” said White House trade advisor Peter Navarro in an interview with Fox News.
