Well, Everything is under the threat of Coronavirus, from studies to business to transport. Surprisingly, the car industry is also lagging behind, according to the Tokyo group’s Akio Toyoda.
In the press conference in Tokyo- Akio Toyoda said, it is shocking how much the world is changing in an instant. The statement is really true. The world is really facing a critical condition.
Considering the situation, Akio Toyoda– Chairman of Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association, added a statement concerning automakers- “At this point, we can’t foresee what’s ahead for automakers”.
Apart from this, in another announcement this week, Toyoda, Nisan Co, and Honda Motor Co said- they would temporarily stop the Northern American factories in order to protect the work health.
Additionally, in order to minimize the effect of the Coronavirus, they also suspended production in various plants in Europe. Along with this, Honda is also closing its facility at Swindon in Britain till 5 April.
The impact of Virus is uncertain yet. Akio Tyoda, the japanese business executive and current president of Toyota car production said he didn’t expect this virus outbreak to hit electronic gadgets and technologies also such as autonomous driving and electric cars.
