How Big Is Pandora Paper Exposed? What’s The Whole Game?
The ongoing investigation revealed that there are 11.9 billion documents in the form of 2.94 terabytes of data. The data secrets the ownership of 29,000 offshore businesses and trusts acquired to escape offshore tax havens.
Although some documents date back to the 1970s, most papers related to businesses and trust were formed between 1996 and 2010. The Pandora Papers are said to be an enormous trove of leaked data revealing tax retreat, probably bigger than Panama Papers.
The ICIJ Analysis identified 956 companies involved in offshore tax havens tied in a close knot to 336 top business people, politicians, celebrities and power paddlers, including Sachin Tendulkar, Anil Ambani, cabinet ministers, ambassadors and others.
